Hunting License

YOU ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A TEXAS HUNTING LICENSE TO HUNT HOGS IN TEXAS.

TEXAS RESIDENTS

If you are a Texas Resident, you are required to have at a minimum, a  Resident Hunting License (type 101) which can be purchased for $25

Non-Residents

If you are visiting Texas and do not need a yearly license, you can purchase a Non-Resident 5-Day Special Hunting License (Type 157) which can be purchased for $48.   This license will be legal for any period of 5 consecutive days.  (Dates will be printed on the license).

Youth License

If you or your child is under 17 years of age, they are required to have at a Youth Hunting License (Type 169) which can be purchased for $7.  This license is valid for any person, resident or non-resident, who is at least 17 years of age at the time of purchase.
